Food grade hexane (ARH-Dsol) is a non-volatile dearomatized fluid that contains very low benzene content. It is a petroleum distillate containing a high proportion of n-hexane that can be obtained by hydrogenation of a petroleum fraction having normal, isoparaffinic, and cycloparaffinic C6 hydrocarbons.
The ARH-Dsol solvent is food-grade hexane that is a colorless, clear liquid having petroleum odor and sediment-free characteristics. This dearomatized fluid is used to replace regular solvents like white or mineral spirits.
Arham Petrochem manufactures Food grade hexane from special cut Naphtha where Heaxne rich stream is purified and extracted to meet requirements for an anticorrosive solvent. This aliphatic hydrocarbon is mainly used as a solvent in solvent extraction units for vegetable oils and in the drug and pharmaceutical industry.
