Bunker Fuels
Bunker Distillate Fuel Oil is fraction that is obtained during crude oil distillation & Bunker Residual Fuel Oil is produced as bottom oil after crude oil distillation.

Bunker Fuel is a fraction that is obtained during petroleum distillation. This term is usually used for any fuel that is used in bunkers. It is also known as a marine fuel. Bunker Fuel is mainly of two types – Distillate and Residual. Distillates are light fractions whereas Residuals are heavy fractions.

The third type of Bunker fuel is obtained by combining these two fuels. It is known as an “intermediate”. Distillate fuel is composed of light petroleum fractions that got separated in a refinery during distillation. Residual fuel is a heavy fraction that did not boil. It is also known as “Tar” or “Petroleum pitch”. Contact us to get a quote about this fuel.
