Mineral Turpentine Oil (MTO), also known as White Spirit is manufactured by doing distillation of petroleum raw material. It is mainly comprised of volatile fractions, naphthenic, paraffinic, and aromatic hydrocarbons. MTO is a clear liquid having a water-white color and high volatility. It is used to reduce the viscosity of the solutions and dissolve bitumen, rubber, and resins.
